It was one of the gems produced by Doordarshan when there was no other channel. Actually, I think was like 9-10 years old when I used to watch this serial in Doordarshan, so obviously I don’t remember anything about it except the only fact that I liked it then very much. In those days we didn’t have much options to watch compared to what we have these days, but this episode created a lasting impression in my brain. I like the tune also. It was a collection of episodes of everyday activities of ordinary people but was touching. The sketch by R. K. Laxman was great.
